International Art Symposium:

7 days of Inspiration, Creation, Art, Friendship and Joy

This symposium brings people together. For a short period of time artists from all over the world gather to exchange information, techniques and ideas related to their profession. These artists, painters and sculptors from different backgrounds will inspire each other and will be able to see their colleagues at work.

The event will broaden horizons. It helps improve the understanding of other cultures, countries and art. The symposium is a public event using local spaces in Cómpeta and surroundings where locals, art-lovers and visitors can meet the artists and experience how they create their own particular style, with spontaneity, originality and creativity. At the end an exhibition will be held to present all art created during the week.

The LUZ Symposium will be held in the marvellous environment of the Andalusian mountain village Competa. The village is surrounded by beautiful nature. No doubt that the Spanish culture, the sun, sky, mountains and the sea will inspire the participating artists...
